 Aluminum
Minimize

Aluminum scuba tanks come in a variety of sizes, from 6 cubic ft to 106 cubic ft, and colors, including red, yellow, green, blue, and purple! The smaller aluminum tanks are reffered to as pony bottles, that divers may take as a back up, while the larger tanks will allow for more bottom time. The most popular aluminum tank is the Aluminum 80, which is what most diver centers and resorts train with and rent out. Aluminum tanks are great, however are positively buoyant when empty, requiring the diver to wear more weight. Please feel free to call us or stop in to see the different sizes, and ask any questions!

 Steel
Minimize

Steel tanks come in sizes ranging from 65 cubic feet to 130 cubic feet. Most divers who invest in their own tanks usually invest in steel, because they can hold so much air/are high pressure, and also because the diver does not need as much weight. Steel tanks are not usually rented out, but are popular among more advanced divers/dive leaders. Please stop in to see some steel tanks and ask any questions!
